Test Garden - Summer 2012
The VegiBee Test Garden
The VegiBee Co. set-up an experimental home garden to compare the difference in crop yield on vegetable plants that were pollinated with the VegiBee garden pollinator versus natural pollination (eg; bees or the wind).
To test this new vegetable pollinator, identical vegetable plants were exposed to similar growing conditions, such as soil, sun light, water and, fertilizer to measure the productivity of the VegiBee garden pollinator. Half of the plants were pollinated with the VegiBee electric pollinator and the other half were pollinated naturally.
Thru the month of August, the vegetable plants that were pollinated with the VegiBee garden pollinator had a significant improvement in yield over the plants that relied on natural pollination. The results of the test garden were as follows; tomatoes +38%, peppers +32%, beans +51% and peas +29%, for the 2012 growing season.
As you can see the VegiBee garden pollinator is a great tool to improve the yield on all tomatoes, peppers, beans , peas and eggplant in your home garden.
If you are an avid food gardener like me and want to increase the yield in your gardener, consider purchasing a VegiBee garden pollinator for the upcoming growing season.
